A Unique Background, A Relentless Advocate
Before becoming an attorney, Kirk worked as a licensed pharmacist after earning his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Mississippi in 1990. In 1997, he returned to Ole Miss to earn his Juris Doctor and began practicing law that same year. His diverse background gives him a well-rounded approach to legal problem-solving—especially in cases involving medical, injury, or insurance-related matters.
Kirk is admitted to practice in all Mississippi state courts, U.S. District Courts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals. He has served as:
- President and Vice President of the Lee County Bar Association
- Bar Commissioner for the First Judicial District
- Judge Pro Tem for Tupelo Municipal Court
- Town Attorney and Prosecuting Attorney for Sherman, Mississippi for over 17 years
- Board Attorney for Itawamba County Schools
